Union DoNER Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh on Tuesday alleged
that Assam government has not submitted the much needed flood report to Centre.
Singh reached Bongaigaon on Tuesday morning and made an
aerial survey of flood hit areas in lower Assam. Accompanied by Guwahati MP
Bijoya Chakravarty among others, Dr. Singh monitored the flood situation of
Bongaigaon, Kokrajhar, Dhubri and other areas.
14 persons have lost their lives in recent flood. Official
data revealed that Over 5 lakh 52 thousand people in 13 districts are affected.
