Congress MP from Kaliabor constituency Gaurav Gogoi on
Sunday asked BJP to name the party’s chief ministerial candidate in Assam in
2016 elections.
Reacting to a journalist’s question, Gaurav, son of Assam
chief minister Tarun Gogoi, said that BJP should make it clear whether
Sarbananda Sonowal or Siddhartha Bhattacharya or Himanta Biswa Sarma will be
the party’s chief ministerial candidate.
Dissident Congress leader Himanta Biswa Sarma joined the
saffron party on Sunday in New Delhi.
